Marriage is a gift from God. It is a way of intentionally living a deep relationship with your spouse and Jesus Christ, and begins with a marriage ceremony where Christ is at the center. Wedding ceremonies are first and foremost a worship service, which celebrates your marriage. The church plans wedding ceremonies to reflect God's love for us, and your love for each other, with input from the couple.
English Lutheran Church believes in marriage equality. Any couple that wishes to be in a committed, monogamous, lifelong relationship is welcome to be married here. Church membership is not required.
