WEEKLY REMINDERS

ELC Youth accept receipts from Quillin’s, Festival and Skogen’s.   We’re currently accepting receipts dated as of July 1 and you can leave your receipts at the Welcome Center.  The stores donate a percentage of the receipts to our youth program.  We raised over $250 last quarter!  Thanks for your support.

The next WAFER weekend is September 6 and 7.   Give your non-perishable food items to the children in our congregation to place in the basket at the altar.  Spaghetti and spaghetti sauce is the August food of the month.  Bring WAFER donations to the Welcome Center any time, and use the envelopes in the kiosk to make monetary donations.

Men’s Monday Morning Bible Study meets on Monday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the narthex for breakfast and discussion.  This week’s topic is “Faith and Politics:  Issues in the 2008 Presidential Election” with Pastor Mark Solyst.
