Come and See: New Member Orientation
In January, May, and September, those who want to join English Lutheran Church are invited to a New Member Orientation. The orientation provides an introduction to our church and an opportunity to meet our pastors, lay leaders and other new members. If you want to attend the next new member orientation you have two group choices:
1) Sunday, September 28th (maximum 9 families)
Part 1 – 9:45-10:45 am & Part 2 – 3:00-6:00 pm OR
2) Sunday, October 5th (minimum 4 families)
Part 1 – 9:45-10:45 am & Part 2 – 3:00-6:00 pm,

Joining English Lutheran
On May 17th & 18th, 2008 English Lutheran Church received our latest New Member Class into the life and mission of our congregation. Please welcome them!

BETHLEHEM EVENT - (volunteer sheet - MS Word)
Every four years English Lutheran Church re-creates the village of Bethlehem with over 300 actors in the cast, live animals and crowded, noisy streets. This ultimate "Reality Show" invites the 5,000 visitors to experience the birth of our savior in a vivid and life changing way. Our last Bethlehem Event was December 18-19, 2004. If you want more information on our next Bethlehem event, scheduled for December 20-21, 2008, please contact Paul Sannerud or visit the 2008 webpage.

Blessing of the Animals
On October 7th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., English Lutheran Church invited children and adults, members and non-members alike to bring their pets to our courtyard for a blessing. Cats, dogs, parakeets and gerbils all received a blessing as part of God’s wonderful creation. .

Home Communion
The pastors of English Lutheran Church bring the Sacrament of Holy Communion to our shut in members each month. If you would like a pastor to call or have any questions, please contact Jennifer Jones at the church office.

Prayer Chain
We have a network of "pray-ers" here at ELC that pray for specific needs/issues of our church, its members, and our world and community. Please contact Jennifer Jones at 784-9335 if you would like to be a part of this very special ministry.

The Prayer Team

Van Ministry
Each Sunday morning, our van ministry transports members and visitors from their home to worship at English Lutheran Church. If you wish to be picked up this coming Sunday, please call the church office at 784-9335 or email Jennifer Jones.
