  | TRIP TO NICARAGUA In June 2004 Pastor Kent Johnson, Aaron Wurster, Adam Solyst, Lee Ellen Kirkhorn and Megan McGarry along with two others from Decorah, IA and one from Stockton, IL traveled to Nicaragua to witness the work of the Rainbow Network and to help build houses. Following the trip, Aaron Wurster and his brother drove to Springfield, MO, with a U-Haul trailer full of donated sporting equipment, toothbrushes, and clothing. Founded in 1995, Rainbow Network is an inter-denominational Christian ministry working in Nicaragua with some of the poorest people in the world. Rainbow Network focuses on four areas to help carry out God's rainbow promise to God's children who live in desperate poverty. The four areas are: Healthcare, Education, Housing, and Micro-Loans. For more information about the Rainbow Network, visit www.rainbownetwork.org or in La Crosse contact Betty Baldner at 507-895-0757. ![]() The June 2004 group to Nicaragua through the Rainbow Network.
