They have prayed.

They have sought counsel.

We thank the members of English Lutheran Church for the tremendous response to “In Christ, Together We Grow.” As of November 30, 2011, $2,025,000.00 has been received or pledged. When we first met with our fundraising consultant, he suggested we had the potential to raise $1 million on the low end and $2 million on the high end. We have already exceeded the high end of projections with more pledges being received every day. We believe the $2 million received is the largest amount received for a building project by any congregation in the history of the La Crosse Area Synod. We thank God for the faith and generosity of the servants of Christ at English Lutheran Church.

The history of English Lutheran church has been one that looks to the future. The people that went before us have made it possible for us to have a beautiful building in which to worship, fellowship, and learn. It is now in our hands to make sure that generations to come will have the space to do what we have been able to do. We ask that you pray about your part in this Capital Appeal. This is an exciting time in our congregation and YOU have the chance to be a big part of it!
